SC ने माना केंद्र का प्रस्ताव, 400 स्कॉयर मीटर में बनेगा नया संत रविदास मंदिर
सुप्रीम कोर्ट (Supreme Court) ने राजधानी दिल्ली में नया संत रविदास मंदिर (Sant Ravidas Temple) बनवाने के केंद्र के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी है। बता दें कि केंद्र ने सोमवार को कहा कि वह मंदिर की पुरानी जगह पर ही 400 स्कॉयर मीटर जगह देने को राजी है। पहले केंद्र ने 200 स्कॉयर मीटर जगह देने की बात कही थी, जिसपर सहमति नहीं बन पाई थी।

केंद्र सरकार ने यह भी कहा कि वह अब रविदास मंदिर के लिए आवंटित क्षेत्र को बढ़ाएगी। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि किसी भी कॉमर्शियल गतिविधि की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी, जिसमें वहां पेड पार्किंग स्थल भी शामिल है। कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार को 6 सप्ताह के भीतर एक समिति बनाने का भी निर्देश दिया जो निर्माण की देखरेख करेगी।
